Meal Plan and Grocery List 11/10-11/16

I just did an inventory on my basement freezer. I’ve got some steaks, some roasts, a couple packages of stew meat, a few packages of hamburger, a cut up chicken, marinated duck breasts, a giant turkey, frozen leftover soups, frozen pulled pork, and big bag of tater tots. So…look for these in my meal plans over the next couple of weeks. And don’t forget to take inventory of what you have before making your own personalized meal plans.

Easy Chicken and Dumplings

Leftovers from the freezer
I’ve got leftover Split Pea Soup, Chili, Sloppy Joes, and Savory Shredded Pork. It’s time to start integrating these leftovers into my meal plan and make room in the freezer.

Thursday November 13th
Marinated Duck Breast
Wild Rice
Asparagus

Friday November 14th
Pizza Night

Saturday November 15th
Baked Potato Bar
Chili

Sunday November 16th
American Lasagna
Garlic Bread

Grocery List

Produce
1 bunch of celery
1 bag of carrots (not the baby kind)
asparagus
Potatoes (for baking)
2 cloves garlic

Meat
1 boneless top round steak, about ¾ in. thick
3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Duck breasts
Bacon
1 lb. hamburger


Dry Goods
Corn starch
Beef boullion granules
Rice
3, 14.5 oz. cans of chicken broth
Bisquick (or your favorite biscuit mix)
Wild Rice- I get the kind with the seasonings already added
Lasagna noodles

Canned Goods and Condiments
Oil
Hot pepper sauce
Soy sauce
Ketchup
Red wine vinegar
Cheese sauce or 1 can of cheese soup
6 oz. can tomato paste
2 ½ cups of canned tomatoes

Dairy
Milk
Sour Cream
12 oz. cottage cheese
12 oz. swiss cheese slices

Spices
Salt
Pepper
Oregano
Basil

Freezer
1 large bag of stir fry veggies
Broccoli, cut up
Garlic Bread or Texas Toast
