Enjoying Spring
This spring has had such nice weather, I am predicting it to be a great year for tomatoes. I have taken many opportunities to enjoy the nice weather. Some times it is hard to find time to just sit and relax outside when there is always so much to do in the garden. That is one of the reasons I was so excited when I received the outdoor fireplace from Avant Garden Design. What a great way to entertain guests, or spend time with the family outdoors.
We assembled it, and then for my daughters one year old birthday, we spent the evening out on the patio next to the fire enjoying the good company of family.
A few things I am excited to do with the outdoor fire place is to cook hot dogs on a stick and other fire pit dinners, and maybe roast marshmallows for smores, but mostly just enjoy the soothing light and smell that comes from a fire.
A few of the ingenious features include: The removable sides for cooking and tending to the fire, the hook that came with it to safely lift the sides off without being in danger of getting burnt. For easy clean up all you need to do is lift up the pit and pour the cold ashes into the garbage or compost.
It is also very light and easy to move to different locations of the yard and garden, or to the storage shed. The durable cover it came with is nice to keep it clean and free from dust and rain out of the fire bowl.
The copper bushing and design fits in perfectly with my outdoor decor, and makes a great accent to my garden. To purchase an outdoor fire pit for your garden, just visit Avant Garden Design.
