Valentine's Day for Vino Lovers at The Boarding House
As one of Chicago's most romantic restaurants, The Boarding House will feature a variety of Valentine's Day festivities for singles and couples alike, fueled by bottles of the world's oldest love potion!
Wine Lover's Singles Soiree
From 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, Proprietress and Master Sommelier Alpana Singh will host a Wine Lover's Soiree. Singles are invited to mingle with other oenophiles and taste Alpana's most romantic wine picks, paired with passed appetizers. The event will be hosted in The Boarding House's softly lit and sexy first floor Bar. Tickets to this Valentine's Eve event are available for $45 online.
Valentine's Day Dinner
On Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15, 2014, the multi-level restaurant will offer a four-course Valentine's Day prix fixe menu prepared by Executive Chef Tanya Baker. Dinner is priced at $65 per person, with optional wine pairings selected by Singh available at $38 per person. The Valentine's Day menu includes:

About The Boarding House
Opened in December 2012 by Proprietor and Master Sommelier Alpana Singh, The Boarding House is located in the heart of Chicago's River North neighborhood in a historic, multi-level building dating back to 1872. The restaurant includes an intimate, subterranean cellar lounge, a bustling first floor bar, and a dining room showcasing Alpana's carefully curated, 450-bottle wine list compliments The Boarding House's Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. Private events are available for groups of all sizes.
The Dining Room is open Sunday and Monday: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Tuesday through Saturday: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Bar is open Sunday through Friday: 4:30 p.m. to close and Saturday: 4:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.
