Chicken Tortellini Soup
I have a Schwan's delivery guy who comes to the house every two weeks and I buy a variety of items that go into the freezer. Recently I got a back of cheese stuffed tortellini (three cheeses, I believe.) When I started making some chicken soup, I decided I'd use the tortellini rather than noodles.
10 cups water
5 chicken bouillon cubes
2 stalks celery, chopped
1/4 cup shredded carrots
Italian seasoning
1 bag Schwan's cheese tortellini
Boil cubes in water until dissolved. Add vegetables, seasoning and chicken. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about a half-hour. Add tortellini. Bring to a boil and continue boiling for about 10 minutes or until all the pasta is floating.
