W is for Whip Stitch

The whip stitch may be the first stitch my mother ever taught me. It's easy and straight-forward. You can use it to sew a pillow -- or other stuffed object -- closed or simply as a decorative stitch. Here is a quick video tutorial on how to execute the whip stitch.
